Karen York is a Professional Organizer, time management coach, public speaker/trainer, and the owner of Organize Me. As her mother says, “Karen was born organized. I thought all kids cleaned up their rooms before they went to bed at night!” Karen uses her natural talents to help her clients achieve a more balanced life by better organizing their space, possessions, and time – at home and at work.
What makes Karen unique as a professional organizer? Prior to starting Organize Me, she enjoyed a 25-year career as a human resources executive. Her M.A. in Organizational Psychology gives her the knowledge and understanding of interpersonal communications, personality styles, motivation, behavior modification, and adult learning theory that is unique among professional organizers and essential to helping her clients develop new, lasting habits through custom solutions designed just for them.
Like her clients, Karen faces the same challenges to staying organized: full-time career, school-aged children, traveling spouse, school and volunteer activities, moving, downsizing, and aging parents. She has personal experience with and a clear understanding of her clients’ situations – which help her discover the best solutions to your and your family’s major organization and time management challenges so that you can reduce your stress and have more time to do the things that you love to do!
Karen is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the Evanston Chamber of Commerce (where she is Chamber Ambassador), and the Woman’s Club of Evanston.
