De-Clutter and Organize Any S.P.A.C.E.
A great introduction to the process used to de-clutter and organize, S.P.A.C.E. can be applied to home and office, a single drawer, or an entire room! You’ll learn how to deal with emotional attachments to items; why baskets and bins won’t get you organized; how they’ll keep you organized; and great local resources for reducing, reusing, and recycling items.
Organizing for Your Personality
Can’t get or stay organized? The answer might be in your head! Learn more about your personality and how to organize accordingly, so you conquer clutter and bring order back into your life. You’ll discover your preferred Organizing Style; learn specific strategies to conquer clutter; and storage and organizing products that will work best for your style.
Taking the Hectic Out of Daily Life
This basic time management class helps you explore your closely-held (and sometimes subconscious) assumptions about time and how those can prevent you from improving your time management. You’ll learn how most of us spend our time as opposed to how we should spend our time. You will also explore common Time Wasters that get you off-track and how to reduce or eliminate those to make your life less hectic.
Techie Time Management for the Non-Techie
Your smartphone can do more than make calls and send texts – it can keep you organized and stress-free. If you’re unsure about using technology, this plain-English class will teach you how to keep everything you need to do and everything you need to do it, right at your fingertips – using an electronic calendar, a smart phone calendar and other great phone apps. Bring your laptop/iPad and smart phone, and we’ll set up your calendars and apps during the workshop.
Busy Parent’s Guide to an Organized Life
This workshop begins with a fun quiz that gets parents thinking about the benefits of getting your family organized. After discovering the top reasons to get organized, we’ll review family task management and effective delegation. A simple Time Map exercise will help you manage your time and tasks. You’ll learn ‘space and place’ tips, time management improvement tips, and helpful organizing products for effective organization.
Organize Your Purse, Organize Your Life
The Purse Purge exercise is the highlight of the workshop, and lots of fun! Once you’ve purged your purse, you’ll use the basic organizing techniques of S.P.A.C.E. (sort, purge, assign, contain, equalize) to reorganize your purse during the workshop – giving you hands-on experience you can use to declutter and organize anything!
Creating a Family Information Center
If your family information center looks like this, then this class is for you. You’ll learn how to create an effective, centrally-located area to manage household activities and communications, and how to route the flow of daily information and paper coming into and out of the home so that it’s easily accessible to all family members. (If you bring a day or two of mail from home, you’ll get hands-on practice with effective mail sorting!)
Go Green and Get Organized
You can “go green” and “get organized” at the same time. Start off by discovering your current level of green organizing. Then the Eco-Friendly around the House exercise will show you how to make reduce, repurpose, recycle a part of your daily routine — like changing your shopping habits and reducing the flow of mail and paper. You’ll also get creative ideas for turning household items into organizing and storage containers.
Organizing Your Small Office/Home Office
This presentation is perfect for you if you work out of a home office that is also the family office, own a small business, or just need to get your family office better organized. We’ll discuss typical small office/home office organizing and storage issues, and how to address those. You’ll learn your preferred Organizing Style and how to use that to work to your advantage. And you’ll leave with specific directions on how to organize your desk from top to bottom.
Your Home: Organize to Love It…or List It!
Whether you live in a large, single-family home or a condo, your home should feel like your castle. When you decide to sell it, you’ll want to get a “castle-sized” offer! Better organizing and storage can make your house your D.R.E.A.M. home, and make both of those dreams come true. Learn how to better organize your home to love it now — and be able to list it for more later.
